Braemar Seascope's dedicated dry cargo departments in London and Beijing enjoy an international reputation as competitive brokers and are active in the voyage and spot/timecharter markets, servicing the requirements of some of the market’s leading charterers, owners and operators. The department focuses on, and continues to build its presence in, the four main dry cargo sectors: handy, handymax, panamax and capesize.

The dry cargo team has wide-ranging connections in the grain trades, raw materials and commodities markets and is in regular communication with mining companies, steel mills, trading companies, owners, charterers and brokers around the world. This coverage enables the department to keep fully up to date with all aspects of the chartering market and to provide a full and comprehensive service to its clients.

Operations are handled by the fixing brokers, thereby ensuring continuity and professionalism throughout the fixture.
